Plaster crack

In case of plaster cracks, it is important to find out whether they are limited to the plaster itself or if the cause lies in the base element (concrete, masonry, etc.). These secondary cracks caused by design or background failures can only be repaired durably, when the primary causes in the base element have been rectified (as far as possible). Typical for structural causes are cracks originating at corners of openings and propagating diagonally into the plaster/façade as well as cracks along joints. The causes of cracks limited to the plaster may lie in the execution of the plasterwork or be a result of unfavourable weather conditions (air humidity, temperature), etc.
