Steel fibre concrete / Steel fibre reinforced conrete

During the production steel fibres are admixed to the concrete to improve the properties of the hardened concrete. The degree of improvement is influenced by the material (strength), the geometry (bond/pull-out resistance), and the quantity of steel fibres. The admixture of steel fibres as well as their three dimensional distribution intensify the strength in terms of compression, flexural tension, shear load, and impact, increase the resistance to crack formation and deformation, decrease wear and fatigue, and enhance the thermal conductivity.
