Multiple stage injection

Multiple stage injection is a method to produce a chemical barrier within masonry against penetrating (capillary ascending) moisture. Within the area of the horizontal moisture barrier to be produced, firstly the cavities and cracks are filled with a suspension through the packers. After a waiting time the hardness of the cement material is tested through the packers using a test lance. If the required consistence has been achieved, the test lance leaves an injection channel when it is removed through which the injection material is injected then. If the injection material requires the addition of an activator, it will be injected right afterwards through the same injection channel.
